Have YOU KonMari-ed your home yet? If not, may I kindly suggest you head to Netflix and watch one episode of the organizing queen's Tidying Up With Marie Kondo show. You'll very likely want to watch more, but one episode is all it takes to encourage you to get rid of some of the stuff cluttering your bedroom, or bathroom, or pantry.
It might also encourage you to find new organization tools—and again, Marie's got you covered. In an interview with Bon Appétit, Marie d her favorite reusable container. And like Meghan Markle and whatever comfy shoe or pant she has on, that storage container promptly sold out from Garmentory.com.
According to Marie, the Noda Horo Enamel containers are popular in Japan. The product is said to be long-lasting, doesn't produce environmental toxins, and keeps food fresh and germ-free. While its purpose seems to be to holding butter, it also works as a lunch container for bringing smaller portions of salad, pasta, chicken, etc.
Luckily, there are a few of the Noda Horo Enamel Butter Cases left on Amazon, but you better act fast. Similarly, there are some listed on eBay, though the prices are unsurprisingly higher than usual. Until stores restock the streamlined containers, find a few copycats to consider below.
As for storage containers as a whole, Marie recommends buying several of the same brand, so they fit inside one another in your cabinet (or wherever you store them). She advises stacking the boxes together and organizing the lids upright to maximize storage space.
