It seems like every day there are new technologies being released that top the ones from the day before. It's an ongoing race to come up with the next best thing, yet I'm continually amazed by each one. My most recent obsession? LG's Signature OLED Rollable TV.
No. "Rollable" wasn't a typo. In fact, the 65-inch TV's OLED display actually disappears or "rolls" into its base to maximize space without having to live with a giant screen. Simply command the screen to roll up or down with your voice, thanks to LG ThinQ, which has Google Assistant and Alexa built-in for your convenience.
As if this wasn't revolutionary enough, the TV has two ways of viewing. The first, a full-view mode, which presents the entire screen delivering next-level realism to its picture quality. The second, a line-view mode, which partially brings up the screen into a "horizon view," so you can use it to add a little ambiance to the room in the form of music, a clock, mood lighting, or home dashboard, just to name a few options.
The technology itself is game-changing, but the metal and wool base also adds a sophisticated, modern touch to a room. Of course, it's not just pretty to look at—it delivers a crisp, clear picture and "cinema-quality" audio from its speakers, according to its product description.
