Can't wait for Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas movie lineup? Then we've got some good news for you: The network has started rolling out six new original movies as part of its third annual Fall Harvest programming series. Expect all the romance and family-friendly hijinks of your favorite Hallmark Christmas movies, just set against apple orchards and pumpkin patches instead of holiday festivities.
A new autumn-inspired flick will air every Saturday night this fall. The first one, Falling for Vermont, debuted on Sept. 23 and drew in 2.6 million viewers, earning it the title of the week's most-watched television program after news and sports.
The much-anticipated movie Harvest Love aired on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. EST. If you've missed it, you can re-watch it on Saturday, October 7 at 5 p.m. EST.
Harvest Love follows Luna Gilson (Jen Lilley), a widowed mother and overworked surgeon who takes a week off to spend time with her detached son on the family's pear orchard. Soon after showing up in the small town, she experiences a run-in with a handsome stranger (because, of course she does!), named Will Nash (Ryan Paevey), who she later learns manages her family farm.
The rest of the lineup includes All of My Heart: Inn Love (October 7) starring Lacey Chabert, Love Struck Cafe (October 14), Good Witch: Spellbound (October 22), and A Harvest Wedding (October 21). Then, after all the fall fun is over, the Christmas lineup will begin on October 24.
So if you had plans for the next few Saturday nights, we suggest canceling them and staying home instead! 'Tis the season to curl up on the couch and watch some Hallmark movie goodness.
