Everyone loves a bit of Game of Thrones — but if you and your significant other love it so much, how about a Westeros-themed wedding?
Granted, given how the Red Wedding ... and the Purple Wedding ... and ALL of the weddings in Game of Thrones, like, EVER, have turned out, it doesn't seem like the best of ideas — but this themed shoot will satisfy your inner nerd.
Inspired by her love for the seven kingdoms in the HBO show, photographer Katherine Elena created the ultimate Thrones wedding shoot (minus all the bloodshed).
Speaking to Mashable, Katie Lee who helped design the shoot, said: "The gowns had a lot to do with finding a happy medium between fantasy and wedding as well.
"We knew that we wanted some sort of cape for Austen (who was playing Daenerys) with a very ethereal dress. For Courtney (playing Sansa), we wanted something regal and girly, but very strong.
"The velvet was the perfect fabric for that and the fur cuffs and stole along with the long train were perfect for her."
She added: "I also really wanted to highlight the strong women of the show and show off their grace and beauty, but also their power."
The photoshoot took place at North Carolina's Smithmore Castle, and although the couple didn't actually get married, we can see this becoming standard wedding fare when season seven starts.
Game of Thrones season seven premieres on Sunday, July 16 at 9pm ET on HBO in the US and simultaneously at 2am on Monday, July 17 on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
