Floral Hoops Are the Prettiest Alternative to Bridal Bouquets

Meet this year's biggest wedding trend.

Brides couldn't get enough of flower crowns in 2015 and larger-than-life bouquets were one of 2016's biggest wedding trends. So what's next for 2017?

This year, we've been noticing more and more brides swapping traditional bouquets for floral hoops. Carried down the aisle like a miniature wreath, this beauty from Green Wedding Shoes was one of the first floral hoops to catch our eye.

While Green Wedding Shoes suggests making these floral hoops for a bridesmaid to carry down the aisle — like the bouquet alternatives seen here — we think they would make a gorgeous bridal bouquet, too.

For example, a floral hoop full of neutral roses and succulents would look beautiful at a boho wedding on the beach.

Or if someone's getting hitched in the fall, they can opt for a hoop with lots of greenery and muted autumn hues.
