The Property Brothers are no strangers to creating stunning homes for the clients on Property Brothers: Forever Home, but their latest project was a little, well, closer to home. On Wednesday's episode of the show, the designing duo did the ultimate home makeover for their brother and his fiancé. Suffice it to say it was basically just as emotional for us as it was for them. The episode of aired Wednesday— so if you haven't seen it yet stop reading now because all of the spoilers are up ahead.
JD Scott is brother to HGTV twins Drew and Jonathan Scott—but you could probably tell that on your own because they all look SO alike. In 2018, J.D. got on one knee and proposed to his now fiancée, Annalee Belle, on Halloween (which totally fits their style).
This special episode was the definition of a family affair; their father, Andrew Scott, even joined the team to help build JD's forever home (uh, don't start crying yet).
As soon as they entered the newly renovated Las Vegas home JD said, "I'm starting to tear up." And in that moment the water works begin. Drew, Jonathan, J.D. and Annalee were all teary-eyed and emotional about the forever home that was once a bachelor pad.
"It doesn’t seem like the same place. It seems like we wandered into someone else’s house,” said J.D. In other words, the twins did an amazing job and exceeded the couple's expectations. Even though they replaced J.D.'s beloved comfy couch with a velvet blue one that brightened up the room.
If you enjoyed watching J.D. on Property Brothers: Forever Home, you still can because he also appears on Brother vs. Brother.
