You Can Now Go Glamping in an Geodesic Dome on This Hotel Rooftop

I'd rather do this than actually camp, TBH.

Glamping just got even more glamorous—if that's even possible. The infamous Watergate Hotel (yes, that Watergate) in Washington, D.C. has opened up their cute and extremely Instagram-worthy rooftop "Garden Globes" to accommodate an even more exciting summer venture: rooftop camping.

For $3,000, you can purchase a package for a one-night, once-in-a-lifetime stay in the hotel's private Glamping Globe, outfitted by Terra Glamping, that includes marshmallow roasting, access to an astronomy telescope, a rooftop breakfast, and even some eucalyptus essential oils for a calming night's sleep. Oh, and you'll even get the chance to name your own star with an official certificate—after, you'll also receive a special star map of your night's constellations. Think that's not enough? You'll also have access to a dedicated "secret service" butler for any and all of your needs throughout your magical night.

This glamping package even give you special access to an in-house suite on the top floor if you need a chance to refresh from the great outdoors and take a break from the "elements" of your glam camping trip.

Originally built in 1976, The Watergate hotel was closed for six years in 2010 and reopened in July of 2016 with a glitzy $16 million renovation. Check it out yourself, and maybe even spend the night camping under the stars.
