Sunday is coming, and with it, the final season of Game of Thrones. In just a few short weeks we'll finally learn who will be sitting on the Iron Throne, and some of us can find out while sitting on their own thrones. You can skip the couch party like Cersei skipped over the whole Night King saga and lounge like the boss you are at The Refinery Hotel's suite, dubbed "Lannister's Lair."
The midtown hotel, located on W 38th St. in Manhattan, is offering the "ultimate viewing party," according to its website, with fur throws, golden goblets and unlimited access to HBO and HBO Go for last season's binge-watch recap. If your blood runs a little more Targaryen, embrace your inner Daenerys with dragon egg candles and a steak called the "Dragon's Snack" in the glow of gilded candlesticks.
No premiere party is complete without food, and the suite package promises Game of Thrones-inspired room service, with options like the "Feast of Winterfell" (pork shank, braised collard greens, heirloom beans, pomegranate gremolata) and the "Braavos Branzino" (fish, ginger, castelvetrano olives, almonds, crispy broken potatoes). Each room reservation includes a charcuterie board, two entrees, and two bottles red or wine wine for drowning your sorrows after another contender freezes to death. Because, let's be real: If there's one thing we know about Game of Thrones, it's that all men must die.
While there doesn't seem to be a Iron Throne included in the package, the Refinery's bed is sure be be more comfortable and is emblazoned with a familiar double R. Want to be King or Queen of the North for the night? A one-night suite starts at $569 every Sunday from April 14th until the season finale, May 19th, and with a short six episodes to this season, you only have a limited time to snap a photo with your family banner.
