You probably know Leanne Ford from HGTV's Restored by the Fords. The cohost and designer is married to Erik Allen Ford (he took her last name), and in case you missed it—they are couple G-O-A-L-S. Lucky for us, Leanne posts photos of her and her hubby frequently, so we're able to get a glimpse into their sweet love story—which as of March 18, includes a newborn baby girl, Ever.
Let's take a look at Leanne and Erik's relationship, but prepare yourself—you will have couple envy.
Their first kiss was at Chez Jay in Santa Monica.
After a year of dating, Leanne worked her interior design magic on Erik's home.
She posted a (very cute) and affectionate photo to Instagram, with the caption: "My very VERY cute #interiordesign client's #EchoPark place is featured now on @curbed.com!!" Leanne also said, "I love this #outtake. I guess you could call this article our public announcement of affection."
The article she's referencing was published on Curbed in October 2017. Leanne and Erik had previously worked together on Buck Mason stores (Erik is co-founder and co-CEO). "Although people might think it would be weird to work with a woman you'd been dating a year, to me it would have been weird if I'd hired anyone else," Erik told Curbed, about choosing Leanne to work on his home.
They love jukeboxes (and now you will, too).
When Leanne was working on Erik's Echo Park rental, they decided to move the fridge to the garage and put a jukebox in its place. "Erik and I love jukeboxes...He had always wanted one for his home, so I bought this as a surprise for him," Leanne told Curbed. "Now we have a new ritual. Whenever anyone visits, we ask them to pick the first song and we record their choice." How fun is that!?
Leanne & Erik had a "surprise" wedding.
The couple was newly engaged and staying in a hotel in New York City for work, and they decided to get married there, according to Leanne's Instagram. They called their families on a Wednesday, and requested that they be in New York by Sunday.
"I've been in total heaven since the day (I finally) kissed this man," Leanne captioned a photo from the day. "And on Sunday evening in #NewYorkCity, Erik and I stood in front of our immediate families only and said our vows. To love each other through it, despite of it, because of it." The caption also mentions that it took "two years to decide it" and just four days to plan the wedding, on November 12, 2017. "I guess you'd call this an #elopement?!"
They are crazy supportive of each other's careers.
Erik did have Leanne help with design in his home, after all. "There is a lot of design synergy between us, and our tastes and aesthetics are perfectly in line," he told Curbed.
Leanne also has posted various photos about Buck Mason, the menswear company Erik co-owns.
Leanne and Erik clearly have so much fun together.
Leanne and Erik moved into #thelittlecabininthecity, and then sold it when she got pregnant.
The two-bedroom, one-bath house in Los Angeles was not kid-friendly, Leanne told People.
No phones allowed in the bedroom.
A rule that would wise for anyone to follow, especially if you're trying to turn your bedroom into a zero-stress zone.
The Fords went to Fiji for their honeymoon...
and took the cutest hammock photoshoot of all time.
Leanne became pregnant with a baby girl...
and on March 18, Ever Allen Ford was born.
Instead of hanging a traditional mobile in Ever's nursery, Leanne and Ford plan to hang the love letters they've written each other over the years. I'm not crying—you're crying.
