Though it was once known as "an unlikely tourist town," Waco, Texas, has quickly become a booming tourism destination thanks to HGTV's Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. The town's number of visitors has tripled since the show first debuted, according to a report by the New York Times.
Pretty soon, fans will have even more of an incentive to make the trip. Availability is about open for fans to rent Chip and Jo's vacation-rental homes—Hillcrest Estate and Magnolia House—from July to December.
Of course, they are truly as beautiful as you'd imagine they'd be. According to to the Magnolia Stay page, both rentals are places for guests to rest, unplug, and enjoy time together. Here's everything you need to know about booking your trip:
How Do You Book?
As with many vacation homes, when you book, you reserve the entire home for yourself and your guests. To book either one of the vacation homes, guests must make their reservations online with a minimum 2-night stay, which can begin on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. Though Sunday check-ins are not available, it's important to note that weekday bookings can only be made in two-night increments, while weekend bookings can be made in two- or three-night increments.
What Can You Expect From Each Property?
The hardest part about booking one of the vacation homes is choosing which one you want to stay in for your nights away. Hillcrest Estate is a "beautiful, historic home in the heart of Waco," with renovations by the Magnolia Homes team, which sleeps 12 people comfortably. Magnolia House, however, is a "unique retreat...designed in Joanna's classic style," which is located about 20 minutes outside of Waco and sleeps eight people comfortably.
