Yup—through a PR blast, the company confirmed that by using Amazon Prime Now to order your groceries, you're going to "get all of your missing ingredients delivered right to your door in one hour, so you don’t have to miss a single minute of family time this Thanksgiving."
It's not like you'll have a limited selection to choose from in the stressful hours leading up to family time, either. Customers can choose from "thousands of natural and organic" Whole Foods products for their one-hour delivery. They also have the option of going to their local Whole Foods Market and picking it up in that same timeframe themselves.
Certain cities will also allow you to order liquor, wine, and beer with your groceries. Amazon pointed out you have the option of tacking on games to the order as well—UNO, Jenga, and Let's Go Fishin' were among the most popular ones ordered last minute last year.
As far as the most popular last-minute foods ordered? Russet potatoes, Daisy sour cream, dozens of eggs, Reddi Wip, and pure pumpkin came out on top (or were completely forgotten about until about noon on Thanksgiving Day and ordered in a frantic panic). Either way—yay!
