Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, LeAnn Rimes, and Kellie Pickler are just a few of the big names slated for Hallmark Channel's 2018 "Countdown to Christmas" lineup, but you could soon join their ranks.
The Hallmark Channel is currently casting extras to appear in their upcoming Christmas at Graceland movie, the Memphis and Shelby County Film and TV Commission announced this week. The network is looking for folks for both speaking and background roles and anyone can apply to be considered.
Production for the film will take place in Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee on July 9 through July 27—and stars country singer and American Idol alum Kellie Pickler. Actors of all ethnicities and genders ages 20-70 are needed for speaking roles, while extras ages 10-70 are needed for background roles.
The romantic Hallmark movie will follow Laurel (Kellie Pickler), a musician turned businesswoman who runs into her former flame on a trip to Memphis during the holiday season.
“In Christmas At Graceland, big obstacles inspire big dreams," Michelle Vicary, the Executive Vice President of Programming and Publicity at Crown Media Family Networks, said in a statement. "Not only are we thrilled to take viewers into one of America’s most beloved private residences, home of the late, great Elvis Presley, we are also thrilled to put the soundtrack of Elvis’ legendary career behind our romantic holiday movie."
With holiday tunes and Elvis Presley music featured throughout, the festive film is expected to be a trifecta of entertainment for fans of the king, country music, and of course, the Hallmark Channel.
