Someone has a little spring in her step! Who you ask? None other than Queen Elizabeth.
The Queen wore a dress that was very seasonally appropriate this morning while meeting with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his wife Emine.
The champagne-colored dress had delicate pink and purple flowers printed on it. She paired her outfit with pearls, black shoes, and her favorite black Launer London purse.
The Queen is known for wearing vibrant colors (seriously, she has dressed in every color of rainbow over the years), but she usually opts for monochromatic dress suits and coats. "If I wore beige, nobody would know who I am," she reportedly once said. Although, that's a hard statement to agree with since she is THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND.
Anyway, today's flowery pick is quite untraditional for her. However, during her early years as Queen, Elizabeth made her love of florals known to everyone — I mean, look at this ensemble:
Perhaps she's taking some style cues from Kate Middleton, since everyone went mad over her flower gown in March:
Or maybe she's looking to her future granddaughter-in-law — who could forget Meghan Markle's floral printed number from April?
So, maybe the Queen is just trying to keep up with the rest of her royal family. HAHA, JK, the Queen keeps up with no one but herself.
