Mina Starsiak's a planner through and through. The Good Bones star has to be, as she renovates homes on her HGTV series, but she recently revealed she's every bit as buttoned-up when it comes to her personal life — down to her pregnancy. The same day she made her mom-to-be status Instagram official, with a faux-movie poster Hawk Party of 6 post, she d a screenshot of her . Which, yes, she'd already made. And yes, she made it weeks before she even knew she was pregnant.
"If you’ll notice, this here registry says '19 WEEKS TO GO' ... which is NOT accurate. 😂 That’s how LONG ago I decided I was getting pregnant and, therefore, obviously had to completely plan it out," Starsiak explained.
Naturally, this might make you wonder: Wait, so when is the baby due?! Starsiak and her husband, Steve Hawk, are expecting their little one's arrival this August. During a recent interview with , she got even more specific, saying she was about 22 weeks along at the time of her interview, which the brand estimated meant she was due around August 13.
So far, Starsiak hasn't revealed whether she's having a boy or girl — and most of the pictures she's posted of baby gifts have been pretty gender neutral and swag-filled ().
And, while she hasn't posted any photos of the baby's nursery, we can only imagine the master planner is already designing it as she closes in on her third trimester. The couple's already bought a ukulele for playing Baby Hawk's lullabies — they'll "sound better on it than a guitar," Starsiak wrote on Instagram — so it only makes sense she's planning in other ways for her first child's arrival.
Oh, and on that note, if the "Party of 6" confused you, let's clarify: Starsiak and Hawk are counting themselves and their three dogs (Beatrice, Frank and Sophie) in that lineup, the baby. This might not be the only child in the Hawk household, though. “When I was younger I wanted six kids, but I think we’d be good with two,” Starsiak told .
