Adding a pool to your home can be expensive, stressful, and well—just a long process. Swimming pools have to be dug, molded, and cured before they're ready to dive into, and the actual installation could take well more than a month to complete, depending on the type you choose. But what if you could order a pool and have it ready to enjoy the same day it arrives? Well, now you can—and we're not talking about an inflatable number—this pool's upcycled from a shipping container.

Modpool, a Canada-based company, is bringing you the ultimate summer experience with their one-of-a-kind pools—they can even include a window in your shipping container, so you can scope out your backyard as you swim.

As if that weren't enough, the company will provide a divider you can use to convert part of your pool-turned-shipping container into a hot tub, and it's easily removable, should you decide you're over the hot tub scene once the temperature climbs above 80 degrees. On the flip side: Want the entire thing to be a steaming tub to enjoy? You can easily turn the whole pool into a spa-worthy hot tub.

There are three sizes of shipping containers you could choose from for your pool, starting at $16,500—there's 8x12 feet, 8x20 feet, and 8x40 feet—and they can be installed either above ground or in-ground. Your pool will also be high-tech: Yyou can control the temperature, jets, and color-changing LED lights right from a smart phone or tablet.

Each pool is shipped to you ready for use—all you'll have to do is get the natural gas or propane set up for heating and electrical service, so things can run smoothly. Other than that, sit back, relax, and enjoy your upcycled Modpool. All you need now is a pool float!
