Unfortunately, Hallmark holiday movie season only comes once a year. But, for those wanting the magic to last 24/7, 365 days a year, now you can finally get your chance. The cutest Victorian-style inn that was featured in Hallmark's Moonlight and Mistletoe, starring the one and only Candace Cameron Bure (aka the beloved DJ Tanner), has just hit the market for $470,000 in a quaint town in Vermont.
The front of the inn was decorated for Christmas (obvi) and was used as Santa Claus' home in the film and Main Street—the street where the inn is located—was used heavily in filming. I mean, who wouldn't want the chance to live in Santa's house?!
Built in 1820, this property is currently, and adorably, called the Hugging Bear inn and resides in the small town of Chester, Vermont. The listing is an operating Inn with a gift shop, a two-story Carriage House, beautiful flower gardens, a chicken coop and a lawn area that separates a separate private cottage found in the back. Six bedrooms are scattered throughout the home, with a small apartment space located over the gift shop.
“The woodwork is really beautiful,” listing agent Jessica Citera told Realtor.com. “Much of it is original, and it’s just incredibly detailed.”
The Carriage House, once meant for housing horses, also has garage space that can fit one vehicle inside. Both this structure, and the inn itself, are registered on the National Historic Registry.
