It seems as though the Property Brothers have a new project on their hands—and this time, it's close to home. Reported by Variety, the brothers have just purchased a new property in a very familiar spot. It's the very home that's located right next door to Drew Scott and his wife, Linda Phan, and they paid a cool $2.4 million for it—$200,000 more than the original asking price. Described as a "diamond in the rough" in the marketing materials, the LA home could definitely use Drew and Jonathan's touch.
Located in the Windsor Square neighborhood of Los Angeles, the home is around 3,300 square feet and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is definitely a fixer upper—and we're wondering exactly what the duo plans to do with this quarter-acre property. Is it for the 14th season of their long-running HGTV show? Or maybe Drew and his wife have other plans for it.
Whatever their reason, the brothers have their work cut out for them. The kitchen needs to be completely redone, along with other parts of the Mediterranean-style home. The one crown jewel of the property is the spacious backyard—I can see the Scott brothers sprucing it up and making it into a summertime paradise.
The property was listed with Jon Hamilton of Intero Real Estate, and Drew and Jonathan Scott were repped by Kennon Earl at Compass.
