The early 2000s were a wild time—low-rise jeans were a fashion staple, MySpace took over our lives, and if you didn't have a pink Motorola Razr, who even were you? One of the most iconic things—and people, I should say—to come out of the early 2000s was the Paris Hilton party girl era.
With that era came Hilton's notorious Hollywood Hills party pad, where she threw tons of soirees in a space complete with a stripper pole, disco balls, a pool, an outdoor deck, and even an enormous signed portrait of the previous homeowner herself. It's still heavily decorated in glam decor—the socialite sold the home fully furnished back in 2007.
“It’s had a lot of parties over the years,” Linn Renee Sivertsen, the listing agent in charge of the property, told Inman. “It’s been featured on The Simple Life and many reality shows after that.”
The new owner, a film and television writer from San Francisco, recently bought the house a few months earlier for $3.9 million and has the intent to invest through renting, starting at a price of $30,000 a month.
Renting out the home is one of the main reasons they're keeping the decor the same—even though Hilton herself hasn't lived in the home since 2007, it'll connect the renter to the early 2000s era, where Kim Kardashian roamed the halls as Hilton's closet organizer before becoming a mega-star herself. Those were the days.
