"It's timeless, yet it still feels fresh," says Atlanta designer Suzanne Kasler, who used the trio so deftly in this Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina, vacation home that it reads as much as a salute to all-American style as it does to comfortable elegance.

The cushions on the room's Kingsley Bate wicker seating are covered in a Duralee stripe.
The stylized pattern of a Manuel Canovas floral — which covers the Suzanne Kasler for Hickory Chair wing chair and was also used for the curtains — gives a kick to the otherwise traditional living room. A pair of sofas from Cameron is upholstered in a Kravet fabric. The lamp was made from an 18th-century lidded Delft urn. Rug, Stark. Coffee table, Rose Tarlow Melrose House.
In the kitchen, the custom pewter hood has the heft of "a European stone fireplace," Kasler says. A pair of Cameron armchairs is in an Elizabeth Benefield linen. Chandeliers, Dennis & Leen. Backsplash in Delft tiles, Renaissance Tile & Bath.
Lattice-backed chairs from Kasler's Hickory Chair line surround a New Classics dining table. The curtains are in a Brunschwig & Fils satin with Houlès trim.
The Chinese Chippendale-style console is by Gustav Carroll. Mirror Friedman Brothers. Vintage palm tree lamps, Parc Monceau.
A punchy blue-and-white runner from Stark winds down the entry's custom staircase. The look is "fresh, fun, and dramatic," Kasler says. One wall is hung with the clients' collection of Low Country landscapes. Tablecloth in an Ebanista fabric with Schumacher trim. Walls, Benjamin Moore's White Dove.
The bunk room's millwork is painted in PPG Porter Paints' Shrinking Violet; blankets, Pine Cone Hill; rattan chair, Joseph Konrad.
The master bedroom's custom Patina bed has a headboard in a Nancy Corzine fabric.
The room's wall color, Limoges Blue by Glidden, conjures summer skies.
In the master bath, the walls are sheathed in Boussac's Tarantelle wallpaper, a floral on a platinum ground; chandelier, Vaughan.
