Property Brothers fans, mark your calendars (AKA set a reminder in your phone) for Wednesday, May 29. Jonathan and Drew Scott are starring in a new show on HGTV called Property Brothers: Forever Home, which will follow the brothers on their mission to turn families' ordinary houses "into their lifelong dream homes," according to a press release.
The new series will feature couples who are settled in their houses but need the brothers' expertise for a complete makeover. The clients on Forever Home aren't trying to flip their homes, but rather put down roots and make this particular property the place they'll spend their lives. Jonathan and Drew will focus on "overhauling the house to suit the families' needs and wishes," per the press release.
"Renovations cost more than they imagine, so their 'diamond in the rough' stays rough for years," Jonathan says. "That's why we're here—to help families unlock the dreams in their uninspiring houses."
Each episode will begin with Drew taking the couple on a tour of some renovated homes near their property to get a better idea of features they love, and which they're not crazy about. Jonathan will use this information, the clients' budget, to bring the family's dream home to life with 3-D graphics.
Jonathan will then show the homeowners two different animated options with different ways the house could be reimagined. "The stakes are high for everyone—for the couples, who must decide how their ideal home should look, and for Jonathan and Drew, who must deliver renovations that surpass the clients' expectations," the release says.
"We will turn these families' dreams into a reality," Drew says.
