Fixer Upper fans, listen up — this is the news you've been waiting for. Adding Joanna's beautiful design touch to your home may seem like just a fantasy, but having the Gaines renovate your home is more plausible than you might think: HGTV is currently casting for season four of Fixer Upper.
, the show is looking for outgoing people who are at least 21-years-old and in the process of buying or planning to buy a home within 40 miles of Waco, Texas. You must be seeking an expert designer (Joanna!) and construction pro (Chip!) to renovate your fixer upper. The show accepts people who have either just purchased a new home within this radius, or are planning to within the near future.
Of course, if you have already bought a home, it must be in need of a serious renovation to be move-in ready. We're talking layouts that make no sense and outdated finishings — everything you're used to cringing over when Chip and Joanna tour potential homes.
Additionally, you must be willing to spend a minimum of $30,000 to renovate the home. While HGTV asks for this as a starting budget, the that "financial contribution should be proportional to the amount of renovations your new home will need."
, this renovation budget is separate from a furniture budget, which clients will often add on at the end of the project. While Joanna always decorates her clients' homes for their Fixer Upper reveal, they don't keep all the furniture she puts in the space. In fact, about half already have their own furniture. "The main reason I decorate the rooms for the reveal is because I want the clients to get the full picture of how to maximize their newly renovated space," wrote Joanna.
