Everyone knows Rihanna is a pop superstar, obviously—the woman sells gazillions of albums and has more awards than you can shake a stick at, including nine Grammys! But true fans also know her sought-after fashion collaborations with brands like Puma, for sporty shoes and sportswear; Manolo Blahnik, for killer heels; and Savage for outrageously sexy lingerie. Her blockbuster beauty line, Fenty Beauty, is so successful that it bagged a reported $100 million in sales in its first 40 days on the market—the brand is even buzzier on social media than Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics line, according to Page Six, and that is really saying something. Quite the empire, right? “Work,” girl!
So, is there anything RiRi can’t do? We may be about to find out: Many news outlets are reporting that fashion mega-conglomerate LVMH will soon unveil a “secret” project with Rihanna called Project Loud (a reference to her hit 2010 album Loud). Project Loud will include fashion, yes, but also “office supplies, home decor, and garden products.” Wait, what?
I have so many questions. What would home decor by Rihanna look like? Would sexy office supplies affect my work productivity? And, most importantly, what does RiRi want me to plant in my garden?! Let the speculation begin. I, for one, will be severely disappointed if the line doesn’t include at least one “Umbrella.”
