Any time a show ends, people want to know: Will the stars take home anything from the set? Often, it's a piece of clothing or an accessory that defined their character, but for Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, the one item she wants has nothing to do with the role she played. It's the print of two robots fighting that hangs on the back of Leonard and Sheldon's front door.
"It looks super random and weird," Kaley admitted during the Television Critics Association Press Tour, "but it’s overly special to me."
It's a fitting tribute to the show about a bunch of incredibly-intelligent-yet-incredibly-awkward guys whom Kaley's character, Penny, grows to know and love over the years. (Or, at least, tolerate.) "I think a lot of people thought this was going to be a really silly show with two nerds living next to the hot girl, and we have completely changed that and have outgrown that, and have become real amazing characters that have left a mark on so many people’s hearts," Kaley said of the series, which ends with its 279th episode this spring.
Items from the set have been so coveted that people started marking what they wanted to keep, and you better believe Kaley's already claimed that print.
"It’s always in my eyeline from where I sit in the living room set, so I’m glad I’m going to put it in my own living room, so I’ll see it forever," she said.
A Big Bang fansite identified the wall art as "The Final Blow" by Eric Joyner. Though it may not have the magic of being THE print from the set, you can actually score the design in all different sizes from a variety of sites, ranging from $6.49 for a poster from AllPosters.com to $165 for a giclee print at Art.com.
The show may be ending this spring, but it can live on, on your walls, forever.
