When it comes to building the home of your dreams, a little creativity goes a long way. With just the right dose of imagination, a classic room can be transformed into something magical. If you've ever read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, like Linda D'Orazio MacArthur, architect of the Natipernavigare Whole Home Project, you know a thing or two about hidden rooms.
The story served as major inspiration when building the Whole Home, a house that can actually help you live longer. "We thought, what if the hall closet had a hidden ladder to a secret attic space?" MacArthur d of the team's thought process behind the home's Narnia closet.
It's quite literally the space of every kid's dreams (also mine, because let's be real, who wouldn't love a secret office or reading nook where no one would ever bother you). Luckily, the separate entrance for adults through the loft in the bedroom allows taller family members to get in on the fun. In the end, everyone wins.
