Adding patterns to your home can be as anxiety-inducing as chopping off your hair, but Hilary Duff's chic decor will give you all the inspiration you need to take a few risks. The actress' home is decked out in statement pieces, patterned wallpaper, and plenty of texture. She recently showed off her L.A. pad to Better Homes & Gardens magazine, and has posted some inside glimpses on Instagram.
Duff's playful vibes start at the front door, which she told BHG she spontaneously painted dusty pink, despite not being a huge pink girl.
Her kitchen is another unexpectedly bold area, with printed black and white tiles and a teal blue finish on her cabinets. The same tiles can be found in her backyard, where Duff has an outdoor bar and kitchen.
Throughout her home, designed by Shannon Wollack and Brittany Zwickl of Studio Life.Style., there's also plenty of rugs, including a staircase runner that's actually made of three different vintage rugs pieced together. Head to Better Homes and Gardens for more photos of Duff's colorful artwork and retro living room.
